Will is the celebratory signature model of Akitoshi Tokubuchi, the 2013 1A world champion who just joined Team YoYoFactory this year. Thanks to its design and wide rim, it has a distinct weight distribution that gives a forgiving catch zone, lots of spin and a high degree of control.

You can rely on the Will for your freestyles and performances, and it will support you as you develop and practice new tricks, making it a great all-arounder for everyday use and for demanding performances. Tokubuchi himself calls the Will the ultimate solution for 1A play, giving it high praise as a high-end model worthy of his approval. He hopes you can feel it for yourself.

To get the best performance, Tokubuchi recommends switching to using REWIND Japan response pads.

Design that demands performance!

This was the concept that Akitoshi gave me to work with, to combine a high level of design with a high level of performance. We started by observing his freestyle performances, and settled on a complex profile to deliver the performance that he demands. It took a lot of shaving from the body, and an extra wide rim to give enough power.

Design and raw performance, these things appear to be at odds with each other, but we managed to squeeze both into the Will. To minimize sleep loss and minimize friction from the string, we created a uniquely curved edge profile that keeps things spinning, with nothing going out of control. You can't experience this kind of playfeel with any other model.

For rejection-style tricks, the amount of control you have over the tilt and shape of the string is unequaled, and will obediently follow your every command.
