A thick rim and a soft feeling shine a bright light on the unique Spotlight!

This is the signature model of TikTok yo-yo star hunter Feuerstein. Originally a member of Gentry Stein's Shutter Crew, Hunter's favorite throw was the Shutter, and has based his own signature on the Shutter's traits.

The strongest influence is found in the H-profile. The core of the shape is mostly left as-is, but matched with an especially thick outer rim. The result feels less like an H-profile, and more like a step-straight model.

The Shutter's greatest impact is in its presence--sense of weight in the hand. By emphasizing the rim design, the weight distribution makes the Spotlight feel even heavier without actually adding much to the specs. The result is an especially powerful playfeel that catches your attention right away. But that thick rim is kissed with a soft rounded edge. This gives the Spotlight a surprisingly soft catch, and smoothes out the heavy impression.
