Sengoku has long been challenging itself to "add new ideas to new yo-yos," and has been introducing innovative metal yo-yos from various angles in terms of materials, configurations, and shapes. The accumulated know-how has not only been used to create original yo-yos, but has also been applied to yo-yos with orthodox and familiar shapes, such as the Ashigaru in recent years.

This yo-yo is another model that incorporates the know-how cultivated through the development of innovative yo-yos into a classic shape. The full-size yo-yo features a round shape that fits comfortably in the hand even though it is wide. This is the embodiment of the shape that the owner of Sengoku himself originally liked, and he himself says the following:

"I felt that the process of something that had been hidden in my mind for many years gradually taking shape was similar to the process of a snake that lives in a dark place growing up.

I also felt that the completed yo-yo looked like a giant snake that often appears in Japanese legends. So I named this yo-yo Orochi."

The shape of the yo-yo is reminiscent of the early days of bindings, while at the same time offering the high performance demanded at Sengoku. Having achieved this, we finally get this release as a fulfillment of a long-held wish.
