Japan Looping Solutions - Loop Up (Metal Spacer)
For looping beginners and experts alike, this Loop Up supports a wide spectrum of players!
This is the Loop Up Metal Spacer version. While the standard Loop Up is incredibly versatile, allowing you to make fine adjustments to find the perfect level of responsiveness for you, it can be difficult for beginners and light users to experiment and feel out their ideal setting. For that reason, we consider the Loop Up to be an intermediate-advanced level yo-yo that requires some effort to get the most out of it. This metal spacer version takes away all the guess work and delivers world-class looping performance right out of the box, without needing to adjust a thing. This makes it a great yo-yo for beginners!
The gap width is fixed at the setting used by World Champion Takuma Yamamoto. With one red spacer and one blue spacer, it has a balance that satisfies the most demanding 2A players out there. While it's recommended to use Type 6 (50/50) string, we've found you can also use K-String's 100% polyester string with great results.
Since the body is the same as the standard Loop Up, this is also a great model for advanced players who want Takuma's settings without messing around too much. So if you're new to looping or practicing your freestyle, this yo-yo may be perfect for you.
*Note that this model has a different axle from the standard Loop Up, and can't be used with the gap-adjusting nut or disassembly-proof nut set. Hence, the gap is fixed at the spacer setting and is non-adjustable. To change this to the adjustable setting of the standard Loop Up, you'll need to get the Loop Up Axle, JPLS plastic spacer, and gap-adjusting nut separately and perform some minor surgery on your yo-yo.
